Rawai Beach is a picturesque coastal area in the south of Phuket in Thailand. It is located on the southeast coast of Phuket between Promthep Cape and Chalong Bay on the quieter side of the island. The special thing about Rawai Beach is that you can watch the tides here every day, similar to the North Sea. However, the beach is not suitable for swimming as it is quite narrow and there are many longtail and speed boats there. Nevertheless, a visit is worthwhile, especially because of the delicious fish restaurants in the area and the boat tours to the offshore islands that are offered here.
