How to Tell the Difference Between a Blue, Channel, and Flathead Catfish

Telling the difference between blue, flathead, and channel catfish can be very challenging.
To begin, look at the tails: Flatheads have rounded tails while blue and channels have forked tails.
Then look at the coloration and anal fins. Blue catfish have 30+ anal rays while channel catfish have 24-29.
