He’s known as “The Widower”, or “Black Widower”. Thomas Randolph has had six wives, four of them dead. He marries quickly, takes out multiple life insurance policies, and then his wives end up dead under mysterious circumstances.

Randolph was charged but acquitted of his 2nd wife Becky’s murder in the 80s. His 5th wife, Frances, died in the hospital room while in there alone with Randolph, though her daughter said she was doing fine and recovering well. He was charged, convicted, and sentenced to death in 2017 for the 2008 murder of his 6th wife, Sharon. He allegedly hired his associate, Mike Miller, to shoot & kill Sharon in what was to look like a robbery gone wrong, then the state says he killed Miller to not leave any witnesses. The conviction was overturned because the judge allowed in prior bad acts, so now he is getting another trial.
