Ken Hensley at "Mir Belogorya" studio

On  December 7, Ken Hensley, former leader of the legendary British rock band  URIAH HEEP visited Belgorod as part of his 2014 Russian tour.
Before the show, the rock musician was a guest of  "Mir Belogorya", the local TV company.
Over  a cup of coffee, he talked to a group of fans about his inspiration, how he, the world and the audience had changed since the seventies.
He also told the audience about the history of the band’s name "Uriah Heep " and in which  countries the musician received  the warmest welcome.
At the end of the interview, as a gift to those present, Ken Hensley sang “ Free Me”,  one of his immortal hits, along with Equator, a rock band from Belgorod.
