Cozy Autumnal Days | Fall Book Sale | Fall Weather in August

When it’s mid-August, but the weather says late September! What a breath of fresh, autumnal air after back-to-back-to-back heat waves for eight straight weeks. It’s the start of fall gardening season, lawn planning, shorter days, and…the library’s fall book sale! How fortuitous that the weather cooperated so splendidly for one of my favorite weeks of the year!

The library book sale offers up paper backs for $0.50 and hard covers for $1, plus as a Friends of the Library member, I get $5 in book bucks to spend at the sale, and early access the day before it opens to the public. So come Fall book shopping with me, and take a tour of my home library!
