Master Shredder

I picked up Master Shredder from The Veil at Rozi's Wine House for $4.85. I 100% bought this beer because of the music related name and artwork. Of course it had to be a Hazy IPA, but it was only %5.5abv and 50 IBUs. When I poured the beer I was flooded with big citrus orange smells without sticking my big nose near the beer. The beer poured a chalky orange color with a thick appearance and had some floaters in there for good measure. The beer was crowned by a nice pillowy white head. When I finally stuck my nose int he beer it smelled of piney resinous hops which was a surprise since the original wafting of scents was citrus. The medium body of the beer was actually quite nice for a HZY IPA and surprising for such a low alcohol IPA. The beer had a tropical sweetness rounded out by the piney hop bitterness on the back end. Overall this was a great beer that I would absolutely drink again.
