The descant was written by Lindsay Gray, who is presently the Director and Conductor of Caritas Consort, a choir based in Wales,UK. Lindsay was a choral scholar at King's College, Cambridge, and sang under David Willcocks and Philip Ledger. He has also been the Director of RSCM(Royal School of Church Music).
