It is located at a distance of 32 kms from Amritsar, Punjab. The Beating Retreat Ceremony starts at 4:15 PM in winter. BSF - Dril, lowering of the flags ceremony at the Attari–Wagah border.
Entry is free, but as a practice you are checked on the Entry gate.
Online registration is also available. Camera and Phone can be carried but need to avoid any other devices - Charger, cables or any other electronics items. Eating items like -chips, tea, chocolate, popcorns are available and are reasonable.
