“Pan d’arancio” in Italian language (orange bread) is a typical Sicilian recipe, it’s a very simple cake to prepare but particular because you have to blend the whole orange (including the peel), the orange smell will spread out all over your kitchen, it is a perfect dessert as a breakfast or snack.

Ingredients list:

250g (2 cups) (8oz) flour
150g (3/4 cup) (5,2oz) sugar
100g (1/4 cup+3tbs) (3,5oz) butter
3 eggs
1 big bio orange (or 2 little ones) + 1 for decoration
1 pouch of baking powder
