Crafting The ULTIMATE Leather Book Cover - Leather Craft

In this leathercraft video, I design and create custom leather book cover. The cover is made from natural vegetable tanned leather that has been highly decorated using a combination of tooling, dyes, stitching and hardware. Sizing Tips:
For books with thin cover pages (less than 2mm thick), try 1/4” (6.3mm) leather overhang at all edges. Place stitch lines 1/8” (3.1mm) from outside edges.
For books with thicker cover pages (greater than 2mm thick), try 3/8” (9.5mm) leather overhang at all edges. Place stitch lines 1/8” (3.1mm) from outside edges.
