For Sarah -- the sound of a haircut

This was not my most difficult audio to pull together, but it was the most time consuming. I bribed a stylist with an Olive Garden gift card to let me record her cutting hair. I couldn't do "takes"; I could only record hours of hair cutting and hope for a good 15 minutes of audio. This final 15 minute cut was a miracle—the stylist's stomach did not growl, no one barged in through the front door, no phones rang, none of the other stylists on duty used and flushed the employee bathroom toilet, the client did not speak, and I read a Cosmo magazine (you can hear the stylist laughing at me)—as I said, a miracle.

I used a Zoom H2 Handy Recorder with a wind screen to reduce the sound from the overhead HVAC vent—so the volume is not as loud as I would have liked. But the sound quality is quite good. She wore high heels so her steps are clearly audible (hopefully not distracting), but the clipping sounds came across nicely. I recorded the sound of shampooing but decided not to use it. I recommend using headphones or earbuds to get the most from this audio. I hope someone finds this relaxing.
