Mokhtar Bin Abdul Hamid, an entrepreneur specializing in these traditional Malay musical instruments, has been mastering his craft since a young age, learning directly from his father in Segamat. Today, Mokhtar continues his father's legacy, making kompang and jidor in Batu Pahat for over 10 years.
