দেশের বাজারে পেঁয়াজের কেজি ১২০ টাকায় পৌঁছেছে। এক সপ্তাহের ব্যবধানে বেড়েছে ৫০ শতাংশের বেশি। বিক্রেতারা বলছেন ৩ মাস ধরে আমদানি বন্ধ। সেইসঙ্গে তাদের দাবি, বাজারে কমেছে দেশি পেঁয়াজের সরবরাহ। এমন অবস্থায় বাণিজ্য উপদেষ্টা বলছেন, কয়েক দিনের মধ্যে স্বাভাবিক না হলে আবারো আমদানির অনুমতি দেয়া হবে।
Onion prices in the country's market have reached 120 taka per kg. This is an increase of more than 50 percent in a week. Sellers say that imports have been stopped for 3 months. They also claim that the supply of domestic onions in the market has decreased. In such a situation, the trade advisor says that if things do not return to normal within a few days, imports will be allowed again.
