Hi there, and welcome to our Energia Films Corporation channel. My name is Marcelo Grion and this is my first feature film in English. I am an immigrant to USA, and we started this film back in 1998. Since then, I have been working in various industries and paying for most of the production myself. It's been a very long journey to get here. Film Director-Producer Marcelo Grion is an Italian-Argentine filmmaker. He wrote his first screenplay when he was eleven and since then has always wanted to make films. He formally studied film at the prestigious Fundacion Universidad del Cine (FUC). Afterward, he wrote, produced, and directed his first short films, "Jaque Mate," and "Luz de Amor." In 1995, he started working on his next big project: "El Extrano." It premiered in 1997 with great success. He then immigrated to the United States, then Italy, and then back to the US where he started producing and directing his first feature film in English: "The Prototype.” After twenty years of hard work at odd jobs and raising money to mostly self-fund his film, Marcelo Grion is now happy to announce that "THE PROTOTYPE" is complete. It will be released sometime in early 2022.
