Filigree paper doyleys (doilys) are usually used to decorate cakes as they are being served. But their lovely patterns can be utilised in a simple encaustic wax printing process to give quick and intricate results. Great for card making but good for artistic work too. This video shows the making of 11 pieces for a display of the approaches involved.
