Some highlights I pulled from the Wildstar Medic livestream. The medic seems to be an insanely high skill cap class where good players will really be noticed. The medic can be both a DPS and a healer and is a strange class. It's a bit of a melee/ranged/healer tribrid. It has longer range than a normal melee but shorter range than a traditional caster. All of it's heals are mid range but also have very big area of effects. The medic can also place down fields that will damage or heal players and enemies inside of them. Medic's use Power Cores and Focus as resources, Power Cores are similar to combo points and focus is pretty much mana.

Exile Medic races: Human, Granok, Mordesh
Dominion Medic races: Cassian, Mechari, Chua (from what I've heard Chua CAN be Medics even though the race page doesn't show them)
