Kubota 4WD Bi-Speed: The Ultimate Test using a B2261 Compact Tractor.

The Kubota B2 series Compact Tractor has the option to turn on Bi-Speed in 4WD. This option will automatically increase the front wheel speed to nearly double the rear wheel speed when the front wheel turning angle exceeds 35 degrees. This is done to have smoother, faster and tighter turns with less turf damage and is furthermore enhancing the clutch durability.

When using 4WD on my new Kubota B2261 (model 2020) without Bi-Speed switched on, I witnessed grass and turf damage. So that is why I did the ultimate test using three settings:
Setting 1: 2WD
Setting 2: 4WD with Bi-Speed switched on
Setting 3: 4WD with Bi-Speed switched off.

This video shows the effects and results for all three settings after several fast and tight turns on a dry grass land.
