Goodwood Family Lunch Stop

Worth watching to the end! I finished my pilots licence at Goodwood 24 years ago. I have flown there since, taken the odd 'work' aircraft through the overhead and taken the RV-7 there once before but it's always nice to go there. It feels a bit like home and my family could meet us there. I also took the opportunity to take my Mum flying in the RV-7, the first time she has flown with me for 22 years!

This is the Van's RV-7 tailwheel aircraft that I built in my garage over 5 years. It's first flight was in July 2023 and we now fly it everywhere we can visiting people and places and documenting our adventures along the way for friends and family. I flew fighter jets for 20 years and now just enjoy flying around the country with my wife who is also a professional pilot although she lets me do most of the flying! We will be competing in the British Air Racing Championship this year which is why you see 777 on the tail!
