उपचुनाव वाली दस विधानसभा सीटों के लिए समाजवादी पार्टी के उम्मीदवारों की घोषणा यूपी के सीएम योगी आदित्यनाथ के लिए चुनौती देने जैसी है, जो इन सीटों को जीतने के लिए जमीन-आसमान एक कर रहे हैं। योगी का विशेष ध्यान मिल्कीपुर सीट पर है जो अयोध्या लोकसभा क्षेत्र का हिस्सा है जिसे भाजपा सपा नेता अवधेश प्रसाद से हार गई थी। योगी के लिए मिल्कीपुर जीतना फेस सेविंग हो सकता है। लेकिन अति आत्मविश्वास से भरे अखिलेश ने कांग्रेस तक पहुंचने की परवाह नहीं की, जो अन्यथा भारत की सहयोगी है।

The declaration of Samajwadi Party candidates for the ten Vidhan Sabha seats going to bypoll is like throwing a challenge to UP CM Yogi Adityanath who has been moving heaven and earth to win these seats. Yogi’s special focus is on the Milkipur seat that is part of the Ayodhya Lok Sabha constituency which BJP lost to SP leader Awadhesh Prasad. For Yogi it could be face saving to win Milkipur. But an overconfident Akhilesh has not cared to reach out to Congress which is otherwise an INDIA ally.
