Watch this longplay of Star Wars Rogue Leader: Rogue Squadron II in 4K 60 fps. I played through this longplay as quickly as possible to finish the game without worrying about gold medals, since earning medals in this challenging game is quite difficult and can be very frustrating. My goal here was simply to revisit this amazing game and enjoy the main missions, playing based on how I remembered them from when I first played the game shortly after its release on the Nintendo GameCube!

Anyone who played this game at launch knows how incredible it was to see such an advanced game running on a small, affordable, and powerful console—the underappreciated Nintendo GameCube! Factor 5 did an excellent job here. In addition to featuring advanced graphics, the game also runs at around 40 to 60 frames per second. It's amazing to see how well the game has aged—so well that you can still feel that same sense of intense combat while piloting an X-Wing through space full of Imperial ships during the Battle of Endor. Swarms of Imperial fighters make you wonder: how did the GameCube manage to push this many polygons and still run at 60 frames per second?
