*know what zone you'll be travelling in
*know what line you need (lines have colors and names, ie. Bakerloo line is Brown)
*know what direction you're heading

Tube Etiquette:
*move down the platform and don't block people from exiting when the train arrives
*move down inside the carriage and stand up for those who need it
*be ready to touch in and out at the ticket barriers
