In this hike I headed to Spitzingsee which is a small alpine lake just next to Schliersee in Southern Bavaria. The hike started from the Kirche am Spitzingsee and followed the route towards Rauhkopf mountain which stands at 1689 metres. The route to the top goes along a road in the beginning and changes to a relatively easy path halfway through. The view from Rauhkopf is beautiful with the surrounding mountains and the lake. I would rate this route 3.5/5.
