The Homestake target is located at the northern boundary of the Gold Springs property, 700 metres east of the Grey Eagle resource. The Homestake target is the location of the Historical Homestake Mine. The claims were originally located in 1897 and underground mining began in 1904. Gold Springs Resource Corp. was able to lease the Homestake claims in October 2017 and was able to conduct the first modern exploration in the history of the claim group. The Gold Springs project includes four historical mining districts Deer Lodge, Fay, and Eagle Valley in Nevada and Gold Springs district in Utah). The Historical town of Fay and the historical town of Deer Lodge are within the Gold Springs project.
