Understanding Inductive Loads affects on a Solar Inverter

Описание к видео Understanding Inductive Loads affects on a Solar Inverter

In this video, we show the effects of inductive loads on a solar inverter on the startup of inductive loads.

In this example, we demonstrate a water pump rated at 700W that needs 3.8A of current to run that requires 15.8A of current to start up.

Inductive loads are more complex loads to calculate. Where the current and voltage are out of phase, and therefore there is a secondary voltage created that moves in opposition to the supply voltage. Because of this, they tend to create power surges when turned on or off.
