Gulachi Dashami is a healthy and tasty recipe. This is a good travelling snack option too. We are using wheat flour and gudh for making this dashami. It turns nice and crispy. This dashami looks tempting and tastes simply delicious. It remains crispy and flaky for many days. I will be sharing lot many tips and tricks in this video. This is a very easy and simple recipe. It can also be a good option for kids’ lunch box or any time snack for kids. You can try this recipe at home and drop a comment for me. Do not forget to like, share and subscribe.

Ingredients:
• 1 cup Gudh / Jaggery
• A pinch of Salt
• 1/2 cup Milk
• 2 tsp Ghee
• 2 1/2 cups Wheat flour
• Ghee

Method:
• In a bowl mix gudh, salt, milk and ghee well together. Gudh should dissolve into the mixture.
• You can use water in place of milk. Dashami made using water has shelf life of about 8-10 days
and dashami made using milk has shelf life of about 4-5 days.
• You can strain the mixture if you want.
• Add wheat flour and mix well.
• Add just enough wheat flour so as to make stiff dough.
• Knead stiff dough from the mixture and rest it for about 10 minutes.
• Take a small portion form the dough and make it smooth and even.
• Roll out a dashami from it with the help of rolling pin. The dashami is a little thick.
• Cut a perfect round dashami form the chapati using a lid of a dabba.
• Heat up a pan on low to medium heat and transfer the dashami on it.
• Roast the dashami on low heat for about a minute from lower side and flip it over.
• When lower side is almost roasted well flip it over and roast well form other side too.
• Spread ghee on upper side and flip it over.
• Again spread ghee on this side and roast well.
• When dashami is roasted well from both sides, take it off on a wire rack.
• You can use oil in place of ghee.
• When Dashami cools down completely, you can store it in an airtight container.
• It is shelf life of about 4-5 days.
• You can have it as it is or with milk or with tea. It goes perfect with peanut chutney.
