Here is one of the senior members of my fan collection, the Maspion EX-2109 T 12" box fan, that my late-grandpa bought for me before he passed away around 9 years ago (and I will never sell it anytime soon). It's still in excellent condition after nearly 10 years! (Although the original fan motor that came with it has been replaced with a new original Maspion box fan motor around 5 years ago, because I did an unexpected blunder during my experiment that accidentally broke the original fan motor.)

This fan was a hard worker since its young years and had never shown any signs of issues before I accidentally broke the original fan motor. Even with the replacement fan motor, it lasted longer than the original fan motor, proving it to be reliable. The bushings are surprisingly still really good and don't show any signs of wearing out yet, though it's still being a daily beater until this day, which is very nice! The newer Maspion fan motor that’s dated in 2019, is surprisingly a lot more powerful than the original fan motor that came with it, making it generate more powerful airflow! And the rotating louver is also still in very good condition.

Lastly, this is the EX-2109 T era that I liked the most before Maspion did an improvement for this model. Because they moved the Maspion logo to the right-up side where the controls are (and the EX-2109 T font too), and even since Maspion did a rebranding of their logo, which gives a "cheap fan" impression. In my opinion, this version (and the JF-2109 T, which is the predecessor model with the same design) is much better not only in terms of looks, but also in terms of build quality!
