Traveling to (& from) the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal by ferry ~ the easy way to go!

Описание к видео Traveling to (& from) the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal by ferry ~ the easy way to go!

The South Brooklyn route of the NYC Ferry service was launched in June 2017. On of the stops along the route is at Red Hook--specifically, in Atlantic Basin, adjacent to the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal.

When this video was shot, the Cunard liner Queen Mary 2 was docked at the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal and preparing to depart on a transatlantic voyage to Southampton, England. The video shows the proximity of the Red Hook ferry landing to the cruise terminal, and shows the walk between the two in real time. At the start of the video, we disembark the ferry and walk to the cruise terminal entrance (along with a number of other passengers), then return to the ferry landing for a quick look at that facility.

IMO, the ferry is the easiest, cheapest, and most scenic way to travel between the cruise terminal and Manhattan. Bon voyage!
