Jayen Mehta is a stalwart in dairy industry. A dynamic and ambitious personality, he is driven by relentless pursuit to make a difference in the lives of dairy farmers. He is the Chief Operating Officer of GCMMF (Gujarat Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation) – the organization that markets brand Amul, the brand whose sales turnover stands at Rs 53,000 crore (US $ 7 billion)
Jayen Mehta has been associated with Amul for over 31 years. He had also served as in-charge MD of Amul Dairy
Having an excellent flair for academics, he is a gold medallist from S.P.University, Vallabh Vidyanagar. An alumnus of the Institute of Rural Management, Anand. His astute understanding of the milk economy coupled with shrewd strategic & management acumen makes him an asset for Amul to cross new frontiers of growth.
