David Finn is introducing speakers Mike Connor- Principle at Spice Catalyst and Director Customer Value Creation International (CVCI), author at creating insanely great customers, competing for the digital future and a leadership program in digital strategy & transformation. He also had started with silicon valley, Apple, Adobe, SGI and Spice and also Jenny from JMIC who is having a conference in Francisco in the beginning of this December.

Mike Conner is presenting his views on that how to assess innovation opportunities for your business?
There are three questions oh what they discussed are:
1. Why it's important to engage your customers in your innovation? Why do you want to work with the visionary one?
2. Why bring innovation deflation and make a sustainable?
3. What the process of innovation?

There is one thing that we love to work with visionary leaders that they inspire you is quotation of Antoine De Saint-Exupery that “If you want to build a ship, don't herd people together to collect wood and don't assign them tasks and work, but rather teach them to long for the endless immensity of the sea.” According to him if you want to build a successful company you have to engage with passion.
He said in this presentation he is talking about visionary customers, customer values and transformational discovery.

Visionary Customer: A book called Lean Startup says that you don't want to do anything unless you got a customer, who will care about what you doing. So we firmly believe in that. It started. The stats quo customer is why we focus on the visionary customers. The lessons we learned are:
1. Innovation doesn't spend time on those people who waste time.
2. Think about and see the world differently.
3. Reduce risk and costs.
4. Operational effectiveness
5. Virtual Reality
6. Crowd sourcing

The criteria for engaging visionary customers are:
Engaged in strategic innovation
Searching for innovative partners
Mutual strategic value to work together
Opportunity for growth

Customer value: There is Kane different model that define several attributes of customer value are:
Basic attributes
Performance attributes
Delight attributes

At the most basic level, value enables what your customers to:
Create a more effective and exciting product and services
Improve the effectiveness of their product
Enhance their performance in the market
Implement a more effective, higher value business model
Astound, delight and amaze their customers

Transformational Discovery: Had we define those things within customer environment, they blast to bring innovation to that is meaningful and valuable. So one of the first question they ask that where can you innovate to create new customer value? We have to think about customer journey, engagement, product and services, business models and operational system and process. What we do to change those to create better customer value for a customer. So, there are a lot of different domains when you think about innovation. Innovation opportunities abound customer outcomes.

The emerging opportunities and requirements in the industry are emerging marketing, manufacturing, financial services, energy, learning, media & entertainment etc. One of the important thing in innovation standpoint that who are customers and what is valuable to them and who the people who were involved in either using the product and purchasing the product and how can I help them with my innovation. The innovation brings new value to and eliminates waste from the value chain. Understand about your customers that what they do.
