HUMILIATION AND DEATH

The offense of a collective feeling is usually the underlying cause of terrible political events. Recognizing this original sentimental tumor and providing a political remedy for it, opens the way to the solution of this political-social cancer; or, if not done, to permanent resentment and fury, which is what the collective offense becomes, with the passage of time.


HUMILIATION AND DEATH

If you humiliate a person
well, that humiliation dies
With him and his perpetrator
And it never comes back to life

Death puts an end to the offense
When just two people are involved
The feud ceases to exist
And the whole problem is resolved

But collective humiliation
Cannot be forgotten with time
It is given more vitality
it could worsen the situation
that these people will carry on
until it is the end of time

One thing Death cannot put an end to
is communal humiliation
If wrongdoing is made against a
Race, religion, clan or nation
Well,that great damage lives on forever
And increases the detestation
Resulting in perpetual hate
And if the chance is given
To the ones who execrate
They'll seek revenge on the villain

Hatred is passed down from parent
To child like a burden they
Are bound to carry forever
And cannot be thrown away
Then, all human life expires
But the offense is here to stay

If the first offense is increased
Or at least is being maintained
This generates resentment which
Causes the fight to be sustained
Death cannot put an end to it
If anything it makes it grow
And the more death there is the more
You want to go after your foe
