Animals eat other animals, so I can too. This is one of the most common arguments when you question someone about eating animals.
Although it's not really an argument when you consider that lions and other animals will kill for survival, they would die otherwise.

Humans killing animals for food is unnecessary because we know that we can live long, healthy lives without ever eating them.

Animals such as lions do a lot of things we don't do. You wouldn't defend that same line of logic if you heard a murderer trying to justify their actions by saying, "yeah, but other animals do it."

Do you really think you can use the same reasoning to explain satisfying your taste desires when you can just as easily eat plants?
Of course not!
