This was a very difficult if not almost impossible fan restoration.This antique Westinghouse fan needed complete rewiring and did not work when I acquired it. The most difficult part of its restoration was removing the internal stator removal. This needed to be done in order to get to the wiring on the back of the motor to replace it. Holes had to be drilled in the back of the motor housing and the stator had to be removed using metal pens in a circular motion to beat it out. Appliance Epoxy paint was used in the restoration. New cloth covered wire was installed as well as a oil Wick. Fresh oil and grease was applied and all new rubber gaskets was installed.
