Is Kawasaki W800 good for long distance touring? Touring on a classic bike

Just a simple question: 'Is the Kawasaki W800 or W650 good motorcycle for long distance touring?', or: 'Can you tour on a modern classic motorcycle?' So, should you consider modern retro W800 for touring or rather buy something else.
