Our Gender Initiative 2020’s first event in partnership with Generation Equality and UN Women, titled “What is the future for Gender Equality”, explores the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action. The declaration was adopted 25 years ago by 189 countries at the Fourth United Nations World Conference on Women in Beijing. It is considered to be the most comprehensive global policy framework on women’s rights, setting out a comprehensive roadmap for achieving gender equality.
