On April 12, 2023, Tampa Police Officer Baden stopped a vehicle for driving without headlights. He noticed that the male driver switched seats with the 18-year-old female passenger. The woman was asked to step out the vehicle, where she admitted switching seats. She also admitted to coming from a bar, where she consumed 2 beers. Her reasoning for switching seats was inconsistent, but it was later revealed that the male had a warrant for his arrest. After performing field sobriety testing, the woman was placed under arrest for Driving Under the Influence. The male was arrested for his outstanding warrant and a search incident to arrest uncovered several types of narcotics in his control. At the police station, the woman provided two breath samples and the results were 0.214% and 0.205% BAC. Their charges and the outcome of their individual cases is discussed near the end of the video.
