After settling into the Cosmic energy of the week and pulling cards for guidance, we talk with Sarah V Barnes PhD, an historian and writer to discuss her book "She Who Rides Horses," set 6000 years ago. The book blends historical accuracy with mystical elements, focusing on a young girl's relationship with horses.

We speak at length about horses as wisdom keepers and the importance of our relationships and connections with them (and other animals, the earth and each other).

This is just the first of many conversations (I hope!). This book (and the rest of the trilogy) can serve as a catalyst for examining our current societal dynamics: acknowledging the historical roots of patriarchy, and opening to a more balanced, relational way of being that can facilitate collective healing.
