Описание к видео Send files between Android and macOS natively like Airdrop (no third-party apps)

After trying for years to find a solution to this dilemma, I finally did it. I found a way to send files natively from Android to MacOs (and vice versa) without any third-party apps that pose privacy and security risks.

My biggest hope was Nearby Share on Chrome, but since Google still didn't (or won't) do anything about it, I decided to take matters into my own hands and found an ingenious solution.

Big thanks to iPnator, who initially pointed me in the right direction. This was his original comment:

"You could create a network share on your Mac using the SMB protocol. This is integrated natively into macOS, and you can access it from any device within the same Network. On desktop devices, you can add it directly inside the file manager, but on mobile devices (at least on Android), you need to use a third-party app, e.g. the FE File explorer or the CX File Explorer, that gives you access to network drives. I would even prefer this way over Airdrop if I lived in the Apple-universe as you can directly access the wanted directory on the computer from other devices."

I found the missing piece, which was the built-in functionality of network drives and Android's split-screen functionality (a neat trick) to send the files natively. Otherwise, iPnator's original solution would be counterintuitive when using third-party apps. Still, his suggestion pointed me in the right direction, and I commend iPnator for that.
