The vertical drop hammer test device is designed and manufactured according to the requirements of IEC60068-2-75 (GB/T2325.55) for impact resistance test of home appliances and their accessories or electronic and electrical products or accessories.

The hammer consists of a basic impact element, and the drop height can be selected from the standard table 2, falling vertically from the stationary state to the horizontal surface of the sample. The characteristics of the impact element shall be in accordance with the requirements of Table 1. The impact element can be guided by a tube with negligible constraints. The guide tube should not come into contact with the sample and keep the hammer free to fall. In order to reduce friction, the length of the impact element should not be less than the diameter, maintaining a proper clearance from the tube.
