Noel Tata, Ratan Tata’s stepbrother, appointed as the New Chairman of Tata Trusts

Noel Tata has been appointed as the chairman of Tata Trusts, the philanthropic arm of the Tata Group,He is the son of Naval H. Tata and Simone N. Tata. He succeeds his half-brother, Ratan Tata, who passed away earlier this week at the age of 86. Noel Tata is already a trustee of the Sir Dorabji Tata Trust and the Sir Ratan Tata Trust, which together hold a significant 66% stake in Tata Sons, the holding company for the diversified Tata Group.
