I remember back when I was in SCJ, we would say this phrase a lot “Hide Your Treasure”. There wasn’t an actual definition but it meant not openly sharing what we were learning in SCJ to avoid questioning and persecution from those outside of SCJ and to hopefully keep people’s heart open so they may one day hear and accept teachings of SCJ. But the truth is it just a tool to keep you in SCJ. Because if people outside was to question their teachings it will expose their lies, deceit and false teachings which will eventually lead you to leaving the group. But they don’t want that to happen. They want you in SCJ.
