Taking apart a Philips Respironic Dreamstation, a recalled CPAP machine.

I look at connectors all intro. I discover this CPAP is recalled due to putting OPEN CELL FOAM in the airway. Have they not ever seen the state of foam in a classic car? are they stupid? all this and more. I'm sitting at the desk right now looking at this thing's blower motor. I plan to put it on my SILENT 3d printer.
