Blind casting is the practice of casting actors without taking their physical appearance into consideration. Most of Hollywood doesn't use this rule, but there are many cases which it does work. This is a video dedicated to advocating FOR blind casting and its positives. I briefly touch on the dangers of blind casting; but otherwise, this is a video about what is RIGHT about blind casting as told through several examples of blind casting in television, movies, and theatre.

I know right now it is very difficult for those of Asian descent. COVID-19 brought to light the racism that targets specifically the Asian population. Please protect yourselves if you feel you are in danger and educate yourself about this issue. I feel like the media isn't covering this like they did for events that happened earlier in 2020, and that's not what the media is there for. Please spread awareness as much as you can so that these horrible actions are brought to justice.
