Formally Introducing Cruiser the Dingo

Описание к видео Formally Introducing Cruiser the Dingo

Here’s what we know about Cruiser the Dingo. There has been a number of questions about him already and like all the rescues we will share his journey here at the farm as we go and learn more about Cruiser. It can be a very debatable subject in Australia; Dingos. We’re not here to be a part of that debate. There are many Dingo experts, and each one has a differing view on things, hence the inconsistent information recorded. Cruiser simply needs a safe and suitable place to call home.

As previously stated, he’s a rescue. He cannot return to the wild. He was removed over 12 months ago. For those asking, this is not an option. The state in which we live in, Cruiser is treated like a rescue dog. Looking for a home. He has struggled to find one willing to take him on, understandably.

One thing that we can say at this point, is that Cruiser’s journey will be very different to a dog coming to the farm. The process, the progress, the training etc. One thing viewers may need to get used to is the idea that anything and everything new to Cruiser will be treated like it is a possible threat. This means there will be many many times everyday where we will need to help him through every new thing. And he will look like he is going a step back until he sees that new thing as a normal thing in his new environment. We do talk about this. This way of approaching new things is instinctual and is different to a dog. Dogs look to humans as to how to treat a new experience. You will see some of this in this video, but it will likely be in most of the videos as the days continue.

Cruiser has shown an interest in the water. It will be a great love for him to share with the pack if it develops.
