Manhattan schools sees decrease in student enrollment

The Manhattan School District reports they’re seeing a decrease in student enrollment numbers districtwide.

The district used to be home to 765 students, but since 2021, that number has decreased by 78 students.

There are contributing factors affecting the dip in enrollment.

The school district has had large graduating class sizes, but smaller graduating classes would follow the next school year.
