How to Grow Mint from a Supermarket Pack

It's easy to grow mint from a just a stalk!

If you buy a tasty pack of mint from the supermarket and want to grow it, this video shows you how. It's a fun, easy project - and potentially will give you mint for years.

Take a fresh stalk (the fresher the better) of mint, gently remove the lower leaves (without tearing the stem), and put it in a glass full of water until the roots grow. Then pot it up in a small pot and keep it on your windowsill until well established and the weather is warm enough to go outside.

Once you have a mint plant, you can keep it going for many years. I offer some tips at the end of the video for how to keep your mint healthy and vigorous from year to year.
