Willys Jeep Pedal Shaft and Clutch Linkage Upgrade Part 1

Описание к видео Willys Jeep Pedal Shaft and Clutch Linkage Upgrade Part 1

In this video I am working on another clutch linkage upgrade. A few years ago I did an upgrade to the linkage in the CJ5 Snowblower Jeep with a T98 transmission. This time I am doing the upgrade in a 1966 CJ5 with a T90 transmission. This is the same type of linkage and upgrade that will work on anything from a CJ2A to early style CJ5's and 6's and all in between. CJ3A, CJ3B, and you can even get creative and make this work for the MB and GPW. The factory setup was marginal at best and from the very first time you put the clutch pedal down you were wearing out your linkage. For guys that use their Jeep a lot it is not uncommon to have to change the rod and cross tube many times during the working life of the Jeep.
There is a lot to do so I am going to break this up into a few different videos so I can explain each step.
The main clutch and brake pedal bracket on this Jeep was in tough shape so that is why I made a new one today that will accept needle bearings. The entire system will be hand made and should last a lifetime. Check out part one and let me know if you are interested in seeing the rest of this system come together.
Thanks for watching.
