Fishing for Tarpon in Boca Grande Pass Bumper Boat Style! The Sharks are Ferocious!

There are two fishing destinations that most anglers would refer to as the tarpon fishing capital of the world - the Florida Keys and Boca Grande Pass just off Gasparilla, FL. On an invite from a good friend and business associate, Spencer Frieman, of iGreen Marketing, I had the opportunity to experience what the Boca Grande tarpon fishing hype is all about and it did not disappoint! We were also joined by Captain Jeff Watkins, Jr of Southern Tail Charters who has been fishing the Boca Grande area for tarpon, redfish and other species his entire life. Jeff was an absolute wealth of knowledge and I was like a sponge soaking up all of the great insight he had to share on tarpon fishing in Boca Grande.
