This feature focuses on some of the stories linked to the Golden Sands Hotel in Famagusta, Cyprus. The 4 star complex is now abandoned in Varosha, but is protected by Turkish security forces. It is dubbed the Untouched Hotel.

Hermann Jakob Dorner- General Manager of the Golden Sands Hotel. Last known residence was in Lausanne in Switzerland. Wrote his book in 2010. Unknown whether he is still alive.
Henri J.P. Manassero- Opening Manager of the Golden Sands Hotel: died 28.9.00
Peter Snow- ITN Journalist: as of 2022- still alive.
Michael Nicholson- ITN Journalist: died 11.12.16
