Acrylic Pour Painting With A Steel Ball Bearing!

Thanks for tuning in! My spin on the marble pour has gotten a lot of questions! I’m happy to answer, the marble I’ve been using is actually a 5/8 inch steel ball bearing, it works much better than a marble of the same size due to the weight. I think the 5/8 inch is the perfect size and weight for the average sized canvas.

All my mixtures are the same in all my work, I use liquitex acrylic paint mixed with floetrol as my pouring medium. I mix one part paint to roughly 4 parts floetrol. The consistency should be like warm honey, the key is mixing all your colors the exact same consistency. This allows the colors to flow together uninterrupted. Then you can let your imagination take care of the rest and have fun! This mixture works for any technique out there and keeps colors true and bright after drying as well!

I hope this is helpful to anyone wanting to try for themselves, thank you for watching and if you have any questions please feel free to leave them down in the comments.
