Jazz Kitchen Coastal Grill & Patio NEW Menu & Decor | Review | Downtown Disney | Disneyland Resort

On our first visit to the Disneyland Resort in 2017, the best restaurant we ate at was Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen. When we heard Ralph Brennan's was being refurbished we were a bit disappointed. The wrought iron railings, patio seating and New Orleans aesthetic made for an unforgettable dining experience. This refurbishment did away with these thematic elements and replaced them with a more modern, coastal, and classic Californian aesthetic. The name was also changed from Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen to Jazz Kitchen Coastal Grill and Patio.

While Ralph Brennan is still affiliated, he's carefully curated the menu to reflect the restaurant's new aesthetic. Since this is our favorite Downtown Disney restaurant, we had to stop by to see if the experience is still great. We tried out some of their new dishes, detail the design changes and see if this new take on a Disneyland classic restaurant pays homage to the experience that predated it.
